Futures are working with a well known manufacturing business and due to a period of continued growth are looking to appoint a Testing Engineer. As Testing Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the performance of the full company product range through comprehensive testing, diagnostics, and repair. The position plays a key part in maintaining quality standards, supporting project delivery, and driving safe, efficient operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Undertake protection system updates, adjustments, and modifications as required.
Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and conduct troubleshooting activities across all relevant equipment.
Test and inspect high voltage equipment
Provide on-site technical support when required, ensuring work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of test results, modifications, and repair activities.

Skills and qualifications

A background in the testing and commissioning high voltage equipment
Recognised electrical qualifications and strong understanding of current electrical regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices, including risk assessments and safe working procedures.
Strong communication abilities, with clear and effective written and verbal skills.
Collaborative approach with experience working alongside wider operations teams.
High attention to detail with an organised, methodical way of working.
